11 DPO

Well I caved in and tested today, bad idea as it was NEGATIVE. I hate seeing that, it is like a smack in the face. I was really hoping this would be our cycle and I thought it was due to all the heartburn, bloating, gas, constipation and huge sore boobs. I have never had phantom symptoms like this before. I know it is still early but still

I have a serious hate...

For the 2ww. I am only 8 DPO right now and am going insane. I was really hoping my temps would go up this morning but they went down again. I don't really know which way to take this as usually my temps take a nose dive right before AF but apparently not this time. Oh and the phantom symptoms are completely different than previous cycles, such as heartburn, fatigue, tender BB's since just after O, and dull cramps. I have never really experienced heartburn in my life before and it sucks. Definitely a symptom I could live without.

My last LP was 10 days, if it is 10 days this cycle than this would be the shortest cycle I have ever had, I am thinking it will be more like 13 days. We shall see, either way if AF doesn't come by Monday I am going to break down and test.

(2)Taking walks in the evening, with Joel and just breathing in the crisp air
(3) The smell of wood furnaces in the air
(4) The leaves changing colors
(5) Curling up on the couch under blankets
(6) Slippers
(7) Candles
(8) Picking out pumpkins at the pumkin patch

It's been a while...

Since my last post, almost 1 month. This last month has been very busy. It was filled with trips, school and work. I'll start off with our trips.

Joel and I went to Maui for our first year anniversary, It was so beautiful. We had the greatest time. We went snorkling, to a luau, relaxed on the beach and even woke up at 1:30 am to drive 3 hours to the top of Haleakala to watch the sunrise. We loved every minute of our vacation, it was just so wonderful to be together, just the two of us, with no phone or internet or any distractions.

We got back on Sept. 1 which was two days before we started school. Joel is going back to school for the first time since highschool which was 8 years ago, he is taking an electrical program. We will both be finishing within a month of each other which is perfect as we will both be ready to take off on a new adventure. We are both so excited to see what is in store for us.

And I'm Off...

To Montreal that is. My dad's family lives in Montreal and we only get to visit about every 3-4 years. It's not that far away, only about a 2 hour flight but it is just trying to get the time off and then there is always family drama so we always come home early which ends up being too much money spent for such a short and stressful trip.

Don't get me wrong, I love me family they are just difficult sometimes. We'll dad flew up this morning and I will be flying up after work this evening. We will be staying until Sunday evening. Just a quick little trip, which is the perfect amount of time as Dad says. I am excited to be flying yet again and to see them all as most of them were unable to come down for our wedding last summer.
Let's just hope it is drama free...
