A kick and a Punch

I cannot get over the movement from our little one the last few days. Normally his movement during the day is minimal and at night around 9pm he gets super active. During the last few days however he has been quite active throughout the whole day. I absolutely love it. Every time I feel a little kick or punch I get the biggest smile on my face. This is one thing I will never ever get tired off.

I still love when 9 pm hits, This is when he really starts up and he goes for a good hour to hour and a half, I really wish I could watch him and see and know exactly what he is up to during those times.

Our little ......

Boy!!

That is right, only about 31% of you thought boy and you were all right!!! We are so unbelievably happy and I still can't stop crying when I look at his little 3D pictures.

For the last few weeks DH and I both thought this little one was going to be a boy, not sure why but just got a feeling. Well it was such an amazing moment. The tech was moving the wand all around and I blurted out omg I see a penis and she was like yep you are right. I immediately looked over at Joel was had the biggest smile on his face. I will never forget that moment.

So I am now going to be really outnumbered by males in the house, and my Saturday & Sunday nights are now going to be filled even more with hockey and football as I will likely lose the vote.

We can't be happier though, we wanted a little boy to be the head of the family and now we are getting our wish.

A trip to the ER

Well yesterday wasn't the greatest day. From the moment I arrived at work I felt very dizzy and disoriented, more so than normal pregnancy dizziness. After about 1 hour I went to see the employee nurse so check out my vitals and to her surprise my blood pressure was fine, although she didn't think I looked well at all and told me to go home. Being the stubborn person I am, as I hate leaving work for sick time I worked the rest of my shift. Towards the end of my shift I really wasn't doing well and decided to head up to the ER. I hadn't felt babe move in quite some time, so I was getting a little worried. Once there they check my vitals again, my blood pressure was actually down from before and did an ultrasound to see how babe was doing. Thankfully his/her little heart was beating and arms were moving. It took some time to get a picture of the heart so I was getting a little worried.

Next they tested my sugars and took a urine sample. My sugars were 3.2 which is pretty low I guess so I possibly have hypoglycemia. Urine sample was pretty good just showed positive for luekocytes, so possibly a UTI. Which I have never had in my life before.

The doctor was pretty dumb and left the room after telling me the results and just told me to carry fruit snacks for when I feel weak. So I have no real diagnosis and will have to call my Doc for a follow up on Tuesday.

I do think that it is hypoglycemia as I have been feeling dizzy off and on all week. It gets worse in the late morning and afternoon so I will really have to make sure I bring lots of snacks wherever I go.
